IBIOS develops projects in the areas of conservation and environmental education, agroecology, social well-being, scientific research, biodiversity monitoring, recovery of springs and restoration of degraded areas.
IBIOS also seeks to strengthen cooperation networks between various non-governmental organizations, government bodies and private organizations that operate in the Serra da Bocaina region, creating synergies and expanding the impact of its actions

We carry out our projects in one of the last well-preserved but unprotected remnants of the Brazilian Atlantic Forest, we collaborate with other NGOs, government bodies and local communities, seeking to raise awareness about the critical importance of protecting the forest’s rich biodiversity.
